Chris was asked to coach the West in the VHSL Allstar game! Cam and Bear were also invited to go! They won 7-2 and Cam was the MVP! Cam and Bear each had 2 goals and 2 assists meaning that PH players accounted for over half the goals for the whole team! We were so proud of them!
Also a special thank you to Amy Jo, Greg, and Bill for coming down from W'burg to support Chris!
Overheard at the Dowdy House:
On the way home from the game Chris was talking to Sam about how humble and gracious Cam was as a player and my heart smiled the whole time hearing Chris trying to teach Sam to be humble in 3 year old language!!! At the end of the conversation Chris asked, "So Sam when you get older, who should you play like?" hoping he would respond, "Like Cam"...when Sam is the most sweetest 3 year old voice responded, "just like Daddy"!! Well that works too Sam!!!!
Before we left for the game we stopped by to eat lunch with Gee-Jo!
Mr. Cool Sam wanted to leave his shades on for the picture! About 5 seconds after this picture Sam picked up the phone in the middle of the table that calls the offices in Washington DC directly...opps!
Can you get enough of Charley in this outfit! I bought it last year at the end of the season for 4 dollars because if you know my mom you know this outfit screams Gee-Jo!!
