Charley's First Day of Preschool

 How cute is Charley girl on her first day?  She has rocked out preschool!  Chris got to take her and stay with her on her first day!  He kept me filled in with lots of pictures and video and we got to Facetime at the end!  She did awesome!  She even asked him when he was leaving! HA! (a parent has to stay the entire time the first day)  She loves school!  I love experiencing preschool through Charley's eyes!  Sam rarely talked about school and what I got out of him I had to drag out! HA!  Charley gives me the low down everyday and I LOVE it!  She loves drawing with markers, playing in the house outside, painting, and playing in the kitchen!  She gives me detailed summaries of the books that Mrs. Jones reads each day! (My favorite being "The 3 Little Pigs" because, "Mama, he tried to blow that house down but he just couldn't"!)  And she LOVES all the singing!  She makes my heart smile!  Charley girl, we love you so much!  

 I almost didn't post these because of the monstrosity that is our front walk but she just looks too darn cute to care! :)  (and yes the bricks are literally falling down and yes I had to ask Chris to spell monstrosity :) )

Charley's Official Dance Pictures!

The YMCA dance program was the perfect for the Dowdy's...low key and lots of fun!  Charley loved both her "numbers"!  She did awesome learning her dances (even if she was a little "too concerned" with where everyone else was supposed to be!  That's our Charley!)

We didn't even have to pay for the costumes!  They come with the 8 week program!  It is a great starter class!  Especially for little girls who are just getting their "toe-tappin-taps" wet!  Charley can't wait until next spring!
