Charlotte Jane

How in the WORLD are you almost 20 months old??  We love you SO much!  You have so much personality and keep up us cracking up!  You have started to become a picky eater...what do you expect Daddy and I ARE in fact her parents...THE.pickiest.eaters.in.the.world.!   You go to sleep so well and rarely EVER wake up in the middle of the night! (knock on wood people...literally right now go find some wood and knock on it!)   You wear size 4 diapers but are very interested in the potty!  Every time bubba says that he has to go to the bathroom you tell me you need to too!  You are a TALKING MACHINE!!!  You easily have 100 words or more in your vocabulary and repeat anything we say!  Your favorites are: "see-ya, be-ya" (see you, wouldn't want to be you) "are-you-boop-ball" (are you ready for some football), "luf you more" (love you more), but by far her most favorite word currently is the word "no" but she stretches out the "N" so its more like "NNNNNNNNNNNNN-NO" and we hear it A LOT!!!  That would be part of the personality we are talking about!  To put it nicely, we are not worried about Charley.  We feel confident that she will always be able to stick up for herself and she is NOT.AFRAID.OF.ANYTHING!!!  She does anything her brother does (including flips off the couch) and sometimes she even does things her brother is too afraid to do!  She is one tough cookie!  Charley you bring a lot of spunk to our family...and we wouldn't have it any other way!!!

I know it's Halloween but if you think I have energy right now to download and edit Halloween pictures you have lost your mind!  Stop by soon to see pictures...they were...of course...the cutest!!!

Any guesses about what miss charley went as???  This is all apart of her homemade 5 dollar costume!!!!

Perfect Fall Night!

Last Sat. the Jones' had us over to celebrate my b-day!  It was the perfect night to start up the fire pit and make s'mores!! The kids entertained themselves so well and shared so nicely...miracles do happen!!!  Kelly and I even got a chance to catch up on life while the "older kids" (i.e. our husbands) entertained themselves with a slam-dunk "horse" game!  It was the PERFECT fall night!  Nice weather, a warm fire,  delicious food, kids in good attitudes, husbands who can creative a game out of anything, and GIRL TALK!!!  We loved it Jones'!!  Let's do it again soon!!

Sam giving sissy a ride on the train!

They only sat still for approximately 2 seconds all night!!  They played, and played, and played!!!  Both of ours were out cold 2 minutes into the ride home!!

Turning 28 was great!

At least for now I don't get wrapped up in turning "older"!   Ask me again when I'm turning 30!  Chris started out the morning by surprising me with McDonald's, then my students brought in surprised and muffins to help me celebrate!  We met up with friends and family at Olive Garden for dinner and then mom, Laura, and kids came over for cake!!!  Chris got a Batman pinata full of candy and a gift certificate to get my hair done! )  Posing with Batman:

 Sam was up first!
Apparently Dylan and Danielle have done this before...they went in head first!  Poor Charley doesn't know what is happening!!

 Very delicious ice cream cake!!

It looks like Sam has a bow in his hair!!!! :)
Thanks for all the birthday wishes and surprises!!

I know I'm her mom but she's a genius....

Charley knew that the brownies were beside the sink.  ALL.ON.HER.OWN she went to the dining room, got a chair, pulled it over to the sink, climbed on the counter top, and helped herself!  I.KID.YOU.NOT...this is exactly how I found her!!!  and all I can say is...that's my girl!  Homegirl wanted some of daddy's famous brownies,I don't blame her...not one bit!!!

The best part was that she was literally grabbing the brownies by the hand full...look at those cheeks!!

In a marriage...it's all about compromise!

I wanted a mini-van...he wanted a Yukon...put the two together and you have a GMC Acadia!!!
It looks just like a mini-van in the inside.  Bucket seats then a bench seat in the back, and our double stroller fits in the trunk AND its all wheel drive (the true advantage of the Yukon)!  Not to go all "Miley Cyrus" on yall but the Acadia truly is the "best of both worlds"!!  And we both agreed that this was both of us "getting our way"!! So far I LOVE IT!!!  I open the door and let Sam go back and buckle up and then load Charley in!  Chris and I were cracking up while we were"car shopping" because my NUMBER 1 prerequisite was how easy it was to load kids in and out....OHHHH.HOW.YOUR.LIFE.CHANGES.WHEN.YOU.HAVE.KIDS!!!!!!

I love how Sam's club made the picture!  Have we talked about Tiger Jr. yet?  He literally is a child golf prodigy.  He has played at least 10 complete rounds of golf...not bad for a 3 year old!  And just yesterday he went with Chris to play in the PH "son/dad" tournament and drove the green!!!  (Chris lets him tee off from the fairway but Chris said it was at least 75 yards!  Sam BEGS Chris to take him to the course, and his golf vocabulary is ridiculous!  He even knows Chris's college roommates silly golf sayings (for instance...when he hits a bunker he says, "I hope you brought your "sunscen" (sunscreen)!!!...get it...bunker=sand=the beach=you need sunscreen!) It makes me laugh every time he says it!!!

Jeter's Pumpkin Patch 2010

We had a such a fun time at Jeter's this year!  My camera was set to a wrong setting for the whole day so my pictures are all over exposed and while I admit that I wanted to cry when I found out you would be glad to know that I got over myself and realized there are bigger problems in the world to worry about! Here is Sam at the petting zoo!

How many kids can you fit into a wheelbarrow??

 Where's sissy??
Sam loved the corn maze! He and Chris did not take a single wrong turn!

Yes I stopped to take a picture before I picked her up!

This daddy loves his baby girl!

We took a picnic lunch!  Chris called this the "hillbilly highchair"!
