4th of July!

These pictures were taken about at approximately 10:03 when I realized that I hadn't taken a single 4th of July picture!  Oh how your picture expectations can change over time! HA!

I don't know if you knew but Max was "Mommy's Little Sparkler"!

Beach Round 1!

The last week of June we headed down to the Outer Banks with the Jones'!  Our kids love each other so much and given the fact we had 5 kids under 6 they did awesome!   We went to the sand dunes, went putt-putting, go-carting...all the usual fun beach things!  We had a GREAT trip!  Amy Jo and Greg were at Duck right up the road so Mom and Kenny came down and we stayed the last two days with them!

Mom and Max!
Amy made the boys matching Beach Bumbos!  I smile every time I see this picture!

The Dunes!  Someone thought his golf clubs were more important then the stroller so he had to "wear" Max all week!  HA!
This pretty much sums up how awesome our friendship with the Jones family really is!

Our family loves the beach!  Max took his morning nap out on the beach while we played and then we all headed to the pool before lunch!  We always love our time at the beach!

Oh Summer...You were so, so good to us!!!!

Yall, we had the sweetest little summer in the world!  Really...the BEST!  We played, we worked on the house, we traveled, we hung out as a family!  It really was perfect!  (Clearly there was no blogging, mainly due to a technical difficulty that hopefully we fixed!)  Get ready for some catch up...and some jealousy...because did I mention we had the sweetest summer in the world!

Chris bought a truck!   We were overdue.  You can't work on a house as much as we do without owning a truck!  We got a super good deal on it and the best part is that it has a barb wire detail on the sides...it makes us laugh every.single.time we think about it!  Of all people my husband drives around with a barb wire truck!  Out of complete respect we have named her "Barb"ara!   Ol Barb...she's been good to us!  (more impressive is that I was still at work in June when he bought her and he literally bought the truck...paperwork, test drive, and all...with ALL 3 kids, BY HIMSELF!  Pretty impressive!  They celebrated with popsicles on the tailgate!
Then we loaded her up with some mulch!  Child labor at its finest!
At least Max found a shady spot!
Random pic of the day!!  Happy July 4th!
