Last week we celebrated 100 days of school in the pig classroom! I can't believe its been 100 days already! Here is a look at their 100 day projects! The only rule is that you have to use 100 things. Those are silly bands linked together at the top! Some used cereal, skittles, popcorn, stickers, paper clips, pipe cleaners, and more! They were so creative and we have enjoyed admiring them!

We also wrote "love" sentences but instead of using a plain ol boring period we used conversation hearts to end our sentences! (FTR when using conversation hearts in 1st grade be sure to "proof read" the sayings on the hearts...some are a bit tricky to ummmm "explain"! ;)
We later used the conversation hearts to practice sorting, counting, and graphing! Anytime you can use food in first grade it's a success!!
