Does anyone still read this???

So we are back from a WONDERFUL vacation to the outer banks!!! Believe it or not I even took a break from the Internet...sorry for the lack of updates...if it helps any...rest and relaxation at the beach are some what redefined when you have a vivacious 17 month old running around. And while I did take pictures to post...I sort of did a break from picture taking as well and decided to "snap images in my mind"....don't worry I will post the pics I DID take soon!!! Until then these pictures of Sam's first haircut will have to do!!!:)
Days before the beach Chris FINALLY talked me into cutting Sam's hair...and before I knew it, Sam was sitting on the kitchen table (isn't that where every family gives first haircuts???) and Chris was snipping away (doesn't every family let their over zealous, quick snipping dad give the first haircuts???) ohhh just the Dowdy's let that happen...huh, go figure!!!!
For your entertainment:

Step 1: Give him graham crackers to make him sit still
Step 2: Make him look like Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber"
Step 3: More crackers and always trim with scrapbooking scissors
Step 4: Let him go outside (with crackers) to shake off extra hair
Step 5: Take ADORABLE pictures of your little grown up little boy!!!!!
