Sam had his first golf tournament this past weekend and to say he had the time of his life is an understatement! Out of all his sports "first" this was by far the one he was most excited about! He is playing on the RVJGA "summer tour" where he gets to play 8 of the local courses and he is in heaven! Check out his cute caddy! #mydaddyismycaddy

Sam drained his first putt on his first hole (25 ft...official stat from his caddy) and everyone went crazy!
Chris and I both like the way the RVJGA run their tournaments. Its exactly like the pros! They had to keep each others scores and turn them into the official! They even had to sign off on their score cards...so cute!
Sam won his first tournament! He got a medal (that he proceeded to wear for the next 3 days straight) and a 5 dollar gift certificate to the club house! (He bought a black sharpie to mark his balls and a chip with the club's emblem on it! He wants to collect the chips from each course that he plays at!...He is such a great kid!)
Way to go Sam! We loved watching you play!
