Charley had her first dance class on Thursday and to say she was a little excited would be an understatement. She came into our room Thursday morning before we could even wake her up to say, "I'm ready for my dance class"! I told her we had to wait until it was dark for her to go...and then she proceeded to ask 1,000 times throughout the day, "is it dark yet"! Around 2 she moved all her dance clothes to our room...I guess she was signaling she was ready to get dressed! She also insisted on wearing her black church shoes because "they look like my tap shoes"! Oh.my.cuteness...

Someone was too excited to take a nap and therefor fell asleep on the way to class...Ballerina out!
We got there early and had some time to dance around the room by ourselves!
For her first class she did awesome! At first she was shy and a little timid. There were several "awkward stares" but she was able to follow her teacher (my old dance teacher by the way!) and she had a blast! She really liked the tap portion! Charley has sat through her fair share of soccer and basketball so we all went to support her! She kept looking to make sure we were still watching so we had to retreat to behind the door way! She got to pick her choice of dinner and with a little persuading from Daddy we all headed to Outback! Charley we loved watching you dance and we can't wait to see you perform at your recital! AND a big thank you to Gee-Jo and Papa Kenny for the awesome Christmas gift that will keep on giving every single Thursday night! (and especially to Gee Jo for buying out Dance Etc. Ha!)
