Let the outside work begin...

We are winding down with phase 1 on the house remodel!  (we have 3 very big phases planned)  We have little thing to do here and there but for the most part we are calling it quits until after things settle down with baby boy!  We have started to tackle some of the outside work....there is so, so, SO much work that we just do a little at time.  We are only doing the free stuff now that requires lots of grunt work but is pretty cheap....aka I watch Chris and Sam!  Chris took our last "inside" remodel trash to the dump and got a load of free mulch.   He has already done one of the small beds, two trees, and one half of the front of the house!  The front of the house basically has to be taken down to the base dirt so it is a lot of work but it looks so much better even though it is very plain right now...plants are way to expensive...ha!

 Sam is a huge help and can load up his small wheel barrel and bring it around front all on his own!  He did this for a solid hour this weekend!  Charley rode continuous circles around the driveway on her bike, singing the entire time...she shares my love for yard labor!

 dueling wheel barrels!  Chris would haul stuff away and Sam would bring up the mulch...they make a pretty good team!  I'm supposed to be taking it easy so see that blue chair behind them....I sat there and pretended to weed that flower bed around the small tree...ha!
